Appreciating Teachers Every Day and #TeacherAppreciationWeek

If you follow us on twitter, you are already aware that we know that teachers are superheroes.

What else would you call someone who can simultaneously respond to the needs of 25+ students at once, continue to innovate year after year, and cultivate personal relationships with students, parents, and coworkers? Ya, that’s what we thought.

While we try to show our appreciation for teachers every day, we also agree everyone deserves a special day and, for teachers, a special week! We are happy to be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day today and Teacher Appreciation Week all week!

In our wildest dreams, we would spend the week traveling around the world (like Santa Claus) and bringing every teacher something special just for them! In reality, we can’t do quite that much, but we can show support in other ways!

Not only do teacher do their jobs, they also do more. Teaches all over the country are taking more of their time and energy to provide students with resources and opportunities that the school budget simple can’t cover, and we are doing what we can to support them.
