A Day of Giving

Last week, 25 lucky teachers, were selected to participate in a contest that can earn them up to $800 in additional funding for their students! During our #GivingTuesday contest last year, over $25,000 was raised in one day for classroom needs! Thanks to a very generous philanthropist, we are bringing a similar contest to 25 lucky teachers today.

How Does This Work? - There will be 3 contests that will happen during different time blocks throughout the day. The cause that raises the most funds during each contest will walk away with additional funds to their cause!

Contest #1 (8am - 1pm CST) - Prize $200

Contest #2 (1pm - 7pm CST) - Prize $400

Contest #3 (7pm - 12am CST) - Prize $200

FAQ

• Is any cause eligible to participate?
  • No. Only the 25 teachers that received an email to notify them that they were selected.
• If I don't win a contest, do the funds raised during that time roll over to the next contest?
  • No. Once a contest is over, everyone starts back at 0 for the next contest.
• Am I allowed to win more than one contest?
  • Yes. If you are doing a great job in spreading the word and building momentum, then we definitely want to make sure we are helping add fuel to the fire! You can win all $800 if you win each contest!
• How will I know if I won a contest?
  • We will update the page every hour during each contest. We will also update it every ten minutes during the last 30 minutes (more frequently if needed). You will recieve an email from the PledgeCents team to notify you that you have won that contest.
• How do I receive the winnings?
  • We will invest the winnings into your cause after you have won the contest. Please allow up to 15 minutes after the contest is complete.
• If I already have money raised for my cause, does that count?
  • No. This only takes into account how much is raised within each contest window.
