The annual ISTE conference is the Mecca of connected educators. Thousand and thousands of motivated teachers and leaders come together to share, advocate, lead, and explore, and tons of amazing ideas are born.
Our team has had the pleasure of attending ISTE the past few years and we can safely say that the energy during that conference is unparelled. The workshops are rich in content. The education vendors are all providing amazing resources that can be implemented in classrooms. It's almost like a Christmas Village for teachers!
Here are some of the announced presenters for this year:
A few years ago, we worked with a handful of teachers as a small pilot to help them #Get2ISTE. Kharima Richards raised $760 to help her attend ISTE. Jessica Runtz was able to raise $1,680 to help her #Get2ISTE...and she had a pretty entertaining video for her page as well! And the always fun Nikki Robertson was able to successfully raise $476 for her #Get2ISTE page!

We understand that everyone wants to attend ISTE but not everyone is able to pay to attend ISTE. That is where we come in. STarting now, every educator worldwide will be able to create a #Get2ISTE fundraising page to help you raise funds and offset any cost for you to attend. Educators should not miss out on ISTE because of financial constraints, so let's make it happen for y'all!

- Once you click the orange button, your page (template shown below) will go live automatically.
- Our team will reach out to set up a one-on-one call to share tips and tricks. We can also make any customized edits to your page (i.e. add the cost for flights, lodging, etc).
Note: All causes must end by June 1, 2017.
FAQ:
1) What if I need to make edits to my page?
Once your page is live on the site, you will be able to email us (at info@pledgecents.com) any requested edits. Our team will review the edits and make any changes on your behalf.
2) How will I receive the money I raise?
For our #Get2ISTE fundraising pages, we will send the money in the form of a check directly to you. You will have to provide pictures of you attending ISTE to confirm your trip and the funds were used legitatemately for their intended use.
3) Can anyone create a fundraising page for #Get2ISTE?
Any educator that is hoping to attend but cannot afford to go is able to create their fundraising page for #Get2ISTE. We only allow one fundraising page per individual.
4) What if I don't reach my goal for my #Get2ISTE campaign?
You will be contacted by our team at the end of your cause about the next steps if you do not meet your goal. You will be able to use the funds to offset any expenses for #Get2ISTE or you will be able to use the funds for your classroom needs for the next school year.
