The partnership with Dremel finally adds 3D printers to the PledgeCents Marketplace
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – March 1, 2017 – PledgeCents, Inc., is on a mission to make education technology more accessible for teachers and schools, while helping ensure that more of donors’ money can be put to work rather than be spent on fundraising costs. The site, which aims to bring resources and opportunities to students across the country by alleviating funding needs, continues to expand its Preferred Partner Program to better collaborate with education companies to make this idea a reality. The most recent partner is Dremel, who is bringing their 3D Idea Builder printers to the PledgeCents Marketplace.
“3D printing has come a long way in education in the last few years and we love the creativity and innovation that they bring to the classroom and the makerspace movement,” said Andyshea Saberioon, co-founder and CEO. “To be able to partner with a global leader in technology like Dremel is humbling for us and will allow us to not only offer affordable 3D printers, but also Dremel’s curriculum-based lesson plans, 1:1 support and easy implementation for our teachers. We are excited to help more and more teachers create interactive, hands-on learning opportunities for their makers when they fund their Dremel 3D Idea Builders!”
Through the partnership, teachers and schools will be able to utilize PledgeCents to seamlessly generate a fundraising page to cover the cost of the Dremel 3D Idea Builder printers. The PledgeCents team works with each fundraiser to help raise the necessary funds and will purchase the products needed immediately after the fundraiser ends to expedite the process. “Through our partnership with PledgeCents, the boundless learning possibilities of 3D printing and the Dremel 3D Idea Builder will be accessible to more students and teachers,” said Rafael Franca, Manager of Dremel 3D Education. “Every student and school deserves equal learning experiences and we are committed to providing teachers the products and resources they need to make that happen.”
