We are excited to announce our first ever PledgeCents #NoFeesWeek. From September 3 to September 10, all investments made into live fundraising pages will not be charged the PledgeCents platform fee and the third party processing fee. With many schools across the country already in session and the rest beginning after Labor Day, we want to ensure that this year’s back to school season is the best ever for our amazing teachers and students.
How It Works
All investments during #NoFeesWeek will be tagged accordingly and will not be subject to fees once your fundraiser ends. Make sure to leverage #NoFeesWeek when sharing your fundraiser on social media by explaining that 100% of what they invest will go directly to you are your students. Also make sure to use the hashtag #NoFeesWeek when sharing and posting.
All fundraisers on PledgeCents will be eligible to participate in #NoFeesWeek. If you have a live fundraiser up already, this is a great time to make that final push to reach/exceed your goal or an awesome opportunity to kickstart those first few investments. If you have a fundraiser go live in the middle of #NoFeesWeek your page will also be eligible to participate for the duration of the week.
FAQ
When is #NoFeesWeek? NoFeesWeek will start at 12am CST on September 3, 2017 and will last until 11:59pm CST on September 10, 2017.
What if my page has already received investments before #NoFeesWeek? Those investments will be subject to our normal fee structure of 5-8% and the 3% WePay processing fee once your fundraiser ends.
What if my page receives investments after #NoFeesWeek? Those investments will be subject to our normal fee structure of 5-8% and the 3% WePay processing fee once your fundraiser ends.
How will I know what investments are made during #NoFeesWeek? They will be tagged in your investments tab directly on your fundraising page.
Who can participate in #NoFeesWeek? Everyone. Any current live fundraising page and any new page that goes live during this week is eligible.
How do I know how much I've raised during this week versus before or after this week? We will update you via emails throughout the week to let you know how much you have earned during #NoFeesWeek
When will I receive my investments? A check will be mailed directly to your school within 24 hours of your fundraiser ending.
How can I message #NoFeesWeek to potential investors? Let them know that everything they contribute to your page during that week will go directly to you and your students. Investors are looking to support your vision for your classroom and they will love to fact that their 100% of their investment will be able to do that. Also, make sure to use the hashtag #NoFeesWeek when sharing and posting on social media.
