The partnership aims to bring access to the Arts Attack through the PledgeCents Marketplace.
Philadelphia, PA – September 15, 2017
Continued budget cuts for school districts across the country put art education at risk as it is often one of the first areas to lose funding. Providing more opportunities for students to engage with art is critically important as it allows students to express themselves in ways that other subjects can’t. PledgeCents’ newest partner, Arts Attack, is on a mission to provide a comprehensive video-based art curriculum to help teach art elements and principles, drawing techniques, media exploration, self-expression, multi-cultural art, art history, and artist appreciation. All of Arts Attack’s various curriculum products are now available through the PledgeCents Marketplace. The partnership enables teachers and parents to gain access to the video based curriculum by helping to offset the cost to get these tools into more students’ hands.
“Quality fine arts instruction is an important component when providing students with a well-rounded educational experience,” said Andyshea Saberioon, CEO and co-founder of PledgeCents. “Arts Attack is our first fine arts partner to date. We have been impressed with their video-based curriculum and how it can help improve opportunities to explore the different art concepts so seamlessly and effortlessly. We are excited to join Arts Attack in ensuring that teachers are able to help their students explore the world of art and everything it has to offer.“
Through the partnership, teachers and schools will be able to utilize PledgeCents to seamlessly generate a fundraising page to cover the cost of the Arts Attack curriculum. The PledgeCents team works with each fundraiser to help raise the necessary funds and will purchase the plan immediately after the fundraiser ends and also connect the teacher to a member of Arts Attack’s team to expedite the process. "Adequate funding is often an issue for schools wanting to offer a first-class fine arts program" according to Larry Osterink, co-founder and CEO of Arts Attack. "We have addressed this issue by offering programs that are highly successful when taught by classroom teachers or parent volunteers, as well as by art specialists; and we are excited to partner with PledgeCents to give our schools, PTO's and teachers another vehicle for funding their visual art curriculum."
